If you are interested in creating a free use QR code without a paid subscription plan and knowing the differences between static and dynamic codes, this video-tutorial is for you! (Through the following example, I created a digital restaurant menu but you can create a QR Code for a bar menu, for linking you business card to your website…).
I remember after 20th March 2020, when the lockdown was done and all the restaurants were shut down, I realised the back to work would be different and extra hygienic measures would need to be applied.
The idea about QR Codes Menus was great. At first moment, I thought it would be very difficult to create them but I was wrong.
That was the reason to made this video tutorial and to show you:
- How to create QR Codes with two different generators.
- Differences between static and dynamic codes.
- How to work the presentation of your QR codes.
And other useful things that will help you a lot with the creation of QR Codes.
It is very important to know all the options and differences between generator sites in order not to waste time when you have already created and printed your QR Codes.
WHAT ARE QR CODES?
Believe it or not, Qr Codes are everywhere: You can find them printed on the packaging of your latest gadgets, on business cards, when you buy a bus ticket…But maybe you didn’t think about other utilities and how it is so easy to create them.
A Qr Code means quick response code and like any other barcode helps to store information in a machine readable optical label.
It can be any information from simple text to phone numbers, images…so you can have access to documents, websites, product information, offers, and virtual shops, and you can connect directly to wifi-networks, video games, and social media links…
WHY QR CODES ARE SO USEFUL?
Because when you scan a QR Code with your phone you have in your browser, in less than two seconds, all the information attached to that Qr Code.
That is one of the reasons, why in the last years, the use of Qr Codes has become very popular in hospitality services as a hygienic measure for COVID-19. Guests can read the menus by scanning QR Codes on their phones.
For me it is a great idea and also can be artistic, you will see!
HOW TO CREATE A DIGITAL QR CODE
I explain it to you through this video-tutorial that I made during the pandemic time with subtitles in English and Spanish:
ATTENTION
Be careful scanning all the QR Codes you find. If you are not sure about their origin, don’t scan them. They can be spam or alerts and they can have access to your data, and information…
As always I say, I hope you enjoy this video tutorial and you start creating your QR Codes. And, of course, I would like to know your comments!
